Soaring Hope delivers a state of the science program based on cutting-edge research reports from the National Institute on Drug Abuse. We employ scientific methods for addiction rehabilitation and optimal brain function in order to manage the chronic disease of addiction. Each individual recovery plan integrates time-tested socio-psychological therapies, and cutting-edge neuroscience, based on a "systems" approach to help addicts find sustainable recovery.
Soaring Hope's holistic and integrated model includes equine therapy, the use of essential oils/ aroma therapy, auricular acupuncture, meditation, journaling, trauma sensitive yoga, nutrition and exercise to help clients heal.
SHR also provides access to neurofeedback technology LENS and neurotranmitter replacing and repair with amino acid therapy.
Clients appreciate an effective group therapy experience that includes a wide-variety of techniques and topics including mindfulness, CBT, DBT, psychodrama, relapse prevention, relationship skills, family dynamics, the science of addiction and process groups.
NeuroTherapy (LENS) - The advent of the emerging field of neuroscience has LENS in the spotlight as a revolutionary technique for restoring optimal brain function and eliminating the symptoms of addiction. Soaring Hope utilizes LENS, or Low Energy Neurofeedback System, a unique, effective and safe form of neurotherapy that facilitates changes in people of all ages with a wide variety of presenting issues. Ochs Labs developed and sells LENS.
Balancing Neurotransmitters - The correction of neurological imbalances from addiction with natural nutraceuticals and a nutritious, whole food diet. When the brain receives these essential nutrients, the dependency on chemicals fades, giving the body an opportunity to reach its optimum health potential. Soaring Hope uses whole food amino acid supplements/nutraceuticals from NeuroScience, Inc.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - Proven dual diagnosis techniques are used in groups and individual counseling to re-pattern how the heart and brain exchange information. The goal is to replace the negative perceptions with positive thoughts and feelings that will translate into the development of positive belief systems and ultimately influence positive behavior.
Spiritual/Experiential Therapy - The Soaring Hope program not only embraces the traditional AA and NA programs, but also the Native American 12-step Wellbriety program of the White Bison Council. Wellbriety means to be both sober and well. The message is strong and challenging to a recovering addict.
Family/Relationship Repair - The staff at Soaring Hope are exceedingly experienced in Conjoint Family Therapy, a process based on the perception and understanding that people are a product of negative family patterns. In order to heal the addict, the social context of the entire family needs to be explored and understood. Families are encouraged to be actively involved in the healing process.
Career Rehabilitation - Clients have the opportunity to benefit from learning new skills based on resourcefulness and fortitude. New avenues of education and career experiences are introduced, which will ultimately translate into personal confidence in obtaining satisfying and fulfilling jobs in the marketplace.
Court Advocate Services - Our professional staff will work closely with the Judicial and Criminal Justice systems to support, mediate, and advocate on behalf of clients when they are faced with the criminal situations their destructive behaviors may have caused.
Lifetime Continuing Care - We understand recovery is a day-to-day process and each new dawn poses new challenges to a committed life of sobriety. The staff is committed to ongoing communications and maintaining relationships with all patients to facilitate and support lasting recovery. Nutraceutical maintenance schedules can be ordered through the program at wholesale prices.
